Terms of Use

Please read these Terms of Use carefully before using DuckDropPaper.com or participating in Duck Drop commercial trade programs.

Last Updated: September 2026 • Effective Date: January 1, 2026

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing, browsing, or utilizing DuckDropPaper.com ("the Website") or engaging with products and services provided by Duck Drop ("we," "our," or "us"), you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Use and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use this Website.

2. Intellectual Property & Patent Pending Notice

All trademarks, trade names, logos, product designs, packaging, copy, images, and digital assets on DuckDropPaper.com are the exclusive intellectual property of Duck Drop.

U.S. Patent Pending Notice

Duck Drop fluid-barrier floor protection rolls and proprietary upcycled composite material constructions are protected by a pending United States provisional patent application. Any unauthorized reproduction, reverse engineering, counterfeiting, or deceptive imitation of our product design or manufacturing specifications is strictly prohibited and subject to full legal remedies under applicable federal and state intellectual property laws.

3. Contractor Free Sample Program Rules

Duck Drop makes promotional sample rolls (54" × 150') available to professional trade contractors under the following strict terms:

  • Trade Qualification: Sample rolls are reserved solely for legitimate, commercial or residential trade contractors (e.g., licensed painters, drywall contractors, general contractors, flooring installers).
  • License Requirement: A valid contractor license number (such as a California CSLB license) must be provided upon request.
  • Strict Quantity Limit: There is a strict limit of one (1) free sample roll per contractor / business entity. Duplicate submissions across different names, emails, or phone numbers sharing the same business or address will be voided.
  • Voucher Authorization & Counter Pickup: Sample rolls are fulfilled via authorized regional dealer counters (e.g., independent paint stores and building supply yards in Southern California). Pickup must be scheduled through our website in advance, and the retailer counter voucher must be presented.
  • No Cash Value: Sample vouchers are non-transferable, possess no monetary value, and cannot be exchanged for cash or store credit.

4. Wholesale Accounts & Retailer Portal

Authorized independent paint dealers, building supply yards, and commercial distributors granted access to our Retailer Wholesale Portal agree to:

  • Maintain the confidentiality of assigned login credentials and wholesale tier pricing.
  • Submit legitimate business verification documents, including valid reseller permits and state tax exemption certificates.
  • Adhere to published minimum order quantities (MOQs) and payment terms as confirmed on official wholesale purchase orders.

5. Product Performance, Proper Use & Jobsite Disclaimers

Duck Drop is an upcycled, high-performance, silicone-coated protective roll engineered to resist liquid bleed-through from latex paints, oil stains, lacquers, and common construction fluids under normal trade application conditions.

Contractors and users are solely responsible for:

  • Verifying substrate suitability before deployment on delicate, freshly cured, or sensitive flooring finishes (e.g., adhering to cure times recommended by hardwood stain and finish manufacturers).
  • Securing roll seams and perimeters with trade-approved tapes compatible with the specific jobsite substrate.
  • Regularly inspecting jobsite paper for heavy mechanical punctures, sharp debris, or standing pooling that exceeds typical operational conditions.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties & Limitation of Liability

The Website and all content, materials, information, and products provided on or through DuckDropPaper.com are provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis, without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Duck Drop shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages (including lost profits, jobsite delays, or substrate repair costs) arising out of or in connection with the use or misuse of our products or website.

7. Governing Law

These Terms of Use and any disputes arising out of or related to your use of DuckDropPaper.com or Duck Drop products shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, without giving effect to any principles of conflicts of law.
